We will be learning this through some writing exercises in the journal, watching videos that include Ted Talk’s and CNN 10.
- CNN 10 is included in the course as it is important that students remain aware of the world outside of the concrete walls we exist in today during the pandemic. CNN 10 is described as the global news show for a global audience of students. Particularly for some students, exposure to a larger world plays an important role in their development as individuals and their future aspirations. Writing five things they learned from the ten minute news show keeps them focused and also guides them to practice their listening and writing skills.

This course of Mindfulness For Teens has taught me how to be mindful in different ways and at times whenever necessary and this made me understand the value and necessity of mindfulness in our life. I also learnt about being mentally prepared for any task. My favourite part was the CNN 10 as I learnt that it is necessary to be mindful of the events going on around the world. It also enabled me to understand and to know my qualities or traits in a very easy and in a better manner.
