Learning Solutions
I believe that every child, regardless of their learning challenges, deserves the chance to succeed and feel confident in school. One of the most powerful ways to make this possible is through educational technology (EdTech) tools that not only provide access to the curriculum but also give children greater independence, agency, and inclusion.
Over the years, I have worked to bring evidence-based learning solutions to the Middle East, becoming one of the region’s primary providers for programs that have transformed the way students with learning disabilities are supported. By introducing tools such as Fast ForWord, Cogmed, Zorbit Math, and Kurzweil, I have built a resource pool for SEN students that did not exist before, giving vulnerable learners in this region the same opportunities that students elsewhere in the world have long had access to.
These programs provide scaffolding and alternative pathways for children who struggle with reading, writing, vocabulary, comprehension, spelling, English language fluency, cognitive skills, and executive functioning. They are designed to accelerate progress in shorter, targeted sprints, offering students hope and families relief when conventional methods have failed. Each intervention is carefully selected and tailored to the child’s unique learning profile, ensuring that no two students receive the same plan but each receives the support they truly need.
I also offer alternative schooling options for students who find traditional classrooms difficult to navigate. My goal is not only to help children make academic progress but also to give them the tools to feel capable, included, and prepared for their future.
Stories of Change
Story 1 – Munther
Munther first came to my office in Grade 1, where he was diagnosed with a neurological condition that affected his communication and social interaction. Despite attending a bilingual school, he struggled to read and spoke very little. His parents were deeply concerned about his future and whether he would ever be able to cope in a mainstream classroom.
Over the years, Munther has received consistent learning support through a combination of evidence-based programs such as Cogmed and Fast ForWord, alongside other tailored interventions. Today, now in Grade 7, Munther is a completely different student. He is one of the top readers in his class, demonstrates excellent fluency in language, and is performing close to grade level across subjects. While he still needs support to cope with the demands of middle school, his trajectory has been transformed. What once seemed impossible has become a story of resilience and progress and a proof that the right interventions can change the course of a child’s education and open doors to independence and success.
Story 2 – Summer
Summer was diagnosed at my office with a neurological condition that affects both her learning and her social skills. For many years, she struggled with comprehension, Math, and social adjustment, and by the time she reached Grade 10, her anxiety was making school even harder to navigate. Over the past year, Summer has received consistent learning support through a combination of programs at my office. Cogmed training strengthened her working memory, which directly improved her performance in Math a subject that had always been her greatest struggle. She also engaged in literacy programs that enhanced her comprehension and thinking abilities, giving her the confidence to keep up with classroom demands. Alongside these academic supports, Summer participated in social-emotional learning interventions that helped her manage anxiety and develop better social adjustment skills.
Today, Summer has successfully completed Grade 10 and is coping more positively at school. Her journey reflects how targeted interventions can address not only academic challenges but also the emotional and social barriers that hold students back.
Story 3 – Shams
When Shams was referred to my office in Grade 5, she was struggling significantly with reading and had been diagnosed with a reading disorder. Despite her efforts, she found it difficult to keep up with her peers and her confidence in learning was beginning to decline.
Through targeted literacy interventions delivered over two school terms, Shams worked on developing key skills such as phonics, auditory memory, sight memory, working memory, and processing speed. With consistent practice and the support of evidence-based programs, she began to make steady progress.
Today, Shams is an independent learner at school. She requires only minimal support and is confidently able to manage her grade-level work. Her transformation reflects how the right interventions, applied at the right time, can unlock a child’s ability to succeed and help them rediscover confidence in themselves.
Story 4 – Khudhar
Khudhar first came to my office in Grade 3, where he was diagnosed with a reading disorder alongside ADHD. His difficulties in both attention and literacy had placed him far behind his peers, and learning in a bilingual school environment felt overwhelming for him.
Over the past two years, Khudhar has received consistent support through Cogmed training, which helped improve his attention span and ability to stay engaged in the classroom. Alongside this, he has been working through tailored literacy interventions to strengthen his reading and writing skills.
Although reading continues to be a challenge for Khudhar, it is no longer the barrier it once was. He is making steady progress, gaining greater confidence, and is no longer at the very bottom of his class. With continued support, Khudhar is now on his way to completing school with the tools he needs to keep learning and moving forward.
Story 5 – Imad
Imad was first referred to my office in Grade 8, where he was diagnosed with a neurological condition that affected his comprehension, reading, learning, and his ability to communicate socially. These challenges made it very difficult for him to cope in a demanding IB curriculum.
For two years, Imad received a combination of targeted interventions at my office. Literacy programs helped him improve reading fluency and comprehension, while cognitive training strengthened his retention, memory, and processing abilities. With steady progress, he was able to successfully complete Grade 9 — an achievement that once felt out of reach for him.
Now in Grade 10, Imad continues to face some challenges, but he is on track to complete high school successfully. His journey reflects how timely, evidence-based interventions can empower even the most vulnerable learners to move forward with confidence and hope.
